Dr. Naomi Stent

Lifestyle Medicine General Practitioner

I am an experienced General Practitioner in a busy inner-city NHS practice. Having initially started my medical career as a specialist trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, I made the transition to General Practice over 10 years ago to fulfil my passion as a generalist and have since developed a special interest in Lifestyle Medicine.

The mind and body are inseparable; mental and physical conditions are intricately intertwined with lifestyle factors often the root cause of many chronic health problems. Central therefore to my clinical approach is an evidence-based, integrated and holistic bespoke treatment framework focusing on personalised care; where the patient is treated as a unique, whole person and not simply a collection of health issues. I strive to always try and understand my patients and treat them with empathy and without judgement.

In addition to my NHS role, I work as a Primary Care Advisor for the King’s Health Partners’ Mind and Body programme, helping to improve healthcare for patients in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.  My international work includes supporting the development and delivery of mental health training in Primary Care in Japan.
